March 25th:
Byron: Cattle are in paddock 2 today in the low spot by the road as we try and get that area grazed before the rains really dig in and make it a high mud risk area as it is one of the muddiest places on the ranch. I noticed being tired today trudging in rain gear through the woods. I think I need to quit coffee as I believe it actually makes me tired at this point. It is a light rain today and the cattle seem to be find even on the wettest spot on the property. I have been monitoring them closely and nothing has really got messy. #7 seems to have a cough so I think I should keep an eye on him. I saw a few other intermittent coughs, but not repetitive from other animals.
