Grazing report: Grazed Apr 18, 2016 – Apr 22, 2016

124 AU, This is both P1 and P2, but we ended grazing Pangea Differently then in the past with the Strict P1/P2 Boundaries so I recorded it as 1 unit. We also left quite a bit of forage behind. We could have taken 25% more, but we needed to move on and the quality of the feed wasn’t that great.

Shepherd note: Mar 22, 2016

Here are a set of photos that demonstrate a line of two different levels of impact. This fence line is around the controlled burn in middle pasture in Mitsui. The cattle slept and heavily impacted and manured outside the fence line at the edge of the burn. I want to see if there is a noticeable difference in this location with heavier impact and manure in the years to come.
